Hello all,
As I am setting close to finish up the hybrid project, I am running into this dilemma..
The stock fuel line has a kink in it. While it may be sufficient to supply fuel in stock d motor, I become worried about with the kinked line and JRSC B18C setup, insufficient fuel can be detrimental.
Luckily I have bought the BOSCH pump (Endyn) with complete braided fuel line.
My question is, can I install the pump at 6psi without problems (too rich, bogging, etc.)? assuming the rest of the JRSC kit is stock (JR FPR / stock injector / blower @ 6psi).
I think the higher power of BOSCH will bring up the fuel pressure.. no?
What I am doing now is trying to finish the swap, and have the car running without changing too many parameters at once. If the BOSCH does not have too much of affect other being getting rich, I can live with it. After the swap is finished and running, I will then install Cartech and possibly a AEM unit to tune down the fuel pressure.
Thanks in advance!
Derek

The Bosch fuel pump will supply a greater VOLUME of fuel... thus, you may wish to turn your static fuel pressures down a bit to compensate. The Cartech and AEM regulators will give you all of the adjustment necessary to control the fuel.
